Morning play time...

This morning I was playing with Parker and I put her on her belly. She rolled over... and as soon as she did, Lola came up and got right beside her! Aren't they cute?!

6 month check up....

Well- today we went to the doctor for Parker's 6 month check-up. We are glad to report she is happy and healthy! She weighed in at 15 lbs 4 and half ounces (45th percentile), and her length is 26 inches (the 55th percentile). She has grown since her 4 month check-up, but the growing has slowed down. She gained less than 2 pounds in the last 2 months, and grew only an inch. So...she's about average weight and average height and she's healthy! We couldn't ask for anything more!

Green beans!

On this past Tuesday, we gave Parker her first taste of baby food! We gave her green beans. Needless to say, she was not a fan! I hope you enjoy the following video of Parker's first experience with food!

Today, Parker is 6 months old! Can't believe how fast she is growing and changing!
(This morning Daddy helped me get dressed and accidentally put my onesie on backwards!!)

Snow day!

Today, school was cancelled for me due to the snowy and icy weather. I just had to bundle Parker up and take some pictures of her in the snow! It's her first "Snow Day"!

Time flies!

Welcome to our blog! Thank you for visiting. I hope this will be an effective way of keeping in touch with everyone.

We're all doing well. I am in the middle of my first semester in nursing school, Geoff is busy working and doing whatever he can to help me be successful in school, and little baby Parker is just growing and changing everyday. She now has her two, center bottom teeth coming in (and I think she is currently cutting some teeth on top, too!), she can now roll over (if she wants to!) from her tummy to her back, and she is now eating a little bit of rice cereal each night. We are planning to start her on 'real' baby food in 2 weeks when she turns 6 months old.

Geoff and I were just talking the other day how two years ago at this time, we were about to get married. Then last year at this time, I was at the end of my first trimester of pregnancy with Parker. And now here we are...about to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary and enjoying our beautiful, healthy, five and a half month old daughter, Parker Ann. We are truly blessed. Time really does fly...
