I'm ready to start sewing!

I decided I was going to make this quilt for the new baby...



With this material/color scheme...

I ordered the material online from the Fat Quarter Shop...

Got these materials: a cutting mat, a rotary cutter (that is so sharp and wonderful), and this straight edge/ruler thingie...

I cut my squares in half like the directions called for...(and still messed up even with my nifty cutting supplies! Geez!)



Then I laid them out on the table...6 total strips (5 for the front, and one for the back)...



And now I'm ready to start sewing! ;)
