Hello!  And thank you for stopping by my little corner of the internet.  My name is Marla.  I am a thirty-something wife to Geoff…. and Momma to Parker, Grace, & Nolan.  I love hot coffee, sewing, crafting, vacation, reading (although I rarely make time for this), and Dr. Pepper.   I love Jesus and fall short of His glory every single day….but so thankful that He sent His son so that I could be saved.

 I started this blog 6 years ago, when my oldest was just 6 months old, as a way to document our lives.  Almost 1, 000 posts later..., it continues to be just that.  I mostly blog about my family, our homeschool days, and a few crafty things here and there.

When I was a senior in high school I took an Intro to Psychology class one semester.  I'll never forget something my teacher said to us one day, "You'll have your life all planned out.  You'll think you know what's best.  But it won't turn out at all like you think.  It will turn out better than you could have imagined."

Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be the glory in the Church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations , forever and ever!  Ephesians 3:20-21
