Adventure Garden

Yesterday we took the kids to the children's adventure garden at the arboretum.  I had taken Parker and Grace back in the fall as a field trip with Parker's school, but this was Geoff's first time.

When we got there, we felt like we were the only ones there.  The girls were excited to play on the celery slide and pea pod.  This is the first time we've been that it hasn't been covered with kids.

Pure joy on their faces!

Kaleidoscope observing before we figured out…..

…that it would do this.

making a water tornado

inside the tornado wind tunnel thingie….

This area is my favorite.  Turning and moving water to produce kinetic energy which, in turn, makes electricity..

Climbing the net...

This guy was a trooper!  He took a little 30 minute nap shortly after we got there and then was just along for the ride after that.

Inside the little children's area.   We had never been in this part before and it was pretty neat.  The girls could have probably played here the whole time.
There is sand inside this pot and Nolan thought this was pretty neat.
