Happy belated 4th!

So the deal is- we are in the process of moving and building a new home. And in the meantime (about 2 months)...my Dad and Kay are gracious enough to let us stay at their home.

So among being busy with all of that...I do have internet here...but only on their computer...which is a Dell...which is foreign to my Mac...and I have trouble loading photos...and blablabla...what a sad story, huh? Anyway- I finally figured out a semi-easy way to do it today and I am so happy!

Yesterday- Kristin came over for a bit so that we could take some Independence Day photos of the girls. I must warn you...there are a lot. But they make me smile when I look at them.

And I might add...that Parker has never (to my recollection) smiled for the camera upon me asking her to. But yesterday- she did!!! She was smiling, smiling, smiling! And on command! She loved holding her cousin. And Payton was a very good sport herself (bless her heart :)

Don't worry...these next few pictures really only took place over a 2 second period....everyone was unharmed! :) (Parker was especially excited holding Payton here...)

(see...I was very close by...and moving in...)

Ok...let's try a new pose now...

And because I am a sentimental schmuck..here are some pictures of Parker on last year's 4th of July. She was 9 months old...

I love all of the pictures. You were really able to capture how happy Parker was to hold Payton! They are going to have so much fun growing up together so close in age.
The colors really look great too!

Thank you for sharing the pics of these beautiful girls. Parker was smiling so good and like you said Payton was a trooper too. Zoie looked at your blog yesterday and wanted to put a comment, so please notice that one of 'viv's comments was actually from Zoie. She was so excited to see the pictures.

What beautiful great neices I have! We are all so blessed!

These pictures are great! The girls outfits are really cute too. I think they are so lucky to have one another.

They are so cute! Parker sure is growing up fast isn't she? She is looking more and more like you each day and I see a lil bit of mischief in those eyes...does she get that from her mother? LOL. Hope everything is going well!
Miss ya'll, Emmy
