Finishing off the semester I definitely see a lot of room for improvement. At least I think I do! I go back and forth because on one hand..'it's just preK'. But on the other hand…it's important to me to prepare her for kindergarten. Parker had such a great K4 experience and went into Kindergarten with a solid foundation…and so since we are doing preK at home with Grace…that responsibility falls heavily on me. I know that I started off this school year wanting to teach her the alphabet and such…but I also wanted to use it as 'something to do' while working with Parker. Over the semester…my perspective has changed and I feel like I need to take it a little more seriously. Don't get me wrong…I still want it to be fun…she's only 4 after all and has the rest of her life (at least the next 17 years) to be in school! But I should make a little more effort than what I was making. Just be more intentional.

J is for Jello!
I put tempera paint in a baggie and had her practice letters and numbers and her name.
And just some good ole Play-doh fun!
Pattern Block Jj is from Confessions of a Homeschooler (she also has a black and white printable as well as a colored printable)…and the Christmsa pattern block cards found from Prekinders.
