I hope everyone had a happy mother's day yesterday! I sure did. What a gift to be a mother to these two precious girls.
I started out my day with my head up my (well...you know where) because I wanted this day to be 'all about me' and all of the 'hard work' that I do being a mother. (and I am truly embarrassed to admit this to all of you)
And by 5 pm I was in Geoff's arms crying about how selfish I had been because I already have the best mother's day present that anyone could ask for....
I am a mother.
And that is such a blessing. They are such blessings. And daily I take it for granted. It has been good to remember the important things in life once again...and realize how quickly I get caught up in myself.

What a wonderful picture!! I love it!! Parker looks so sweet!!! And you are right... and I was doing the same thing yesterday and thought the WHOLE day should be for me and almost like he should wait on me... Boy I was wrong!! :) I am so thankful to be a mommy too and that should be gift enough! Thanks for the reminder!
Both of you are very lucky to be Mommy's to those girls and married to such good husbands! I guess I am going to lecture you both for a second, please remember those Daddys when it gets to be Fathers Day too, ok? Love you all so very much too!
