Parker's 3rd birthday party in Candyland!

Yes.  Parker's 3rd birthday was last September.  And her birthday was not until 3 weeks later in October.

And yes.  It is now June of the next year and I am just now posting the pictures.

This is the thing......

I had these granduier plans for her birthday party.  And while it turned out ok....I never got around to doing half of what I wanted (my own fault).

Then......on the day of the party......as much as I tried to get a lot of pictures.  I did not.  I was so disappointed in this for several reasons.  And to top it all off....there were very, very few of the birthday girl herself.

But now....8 months later.....it's time to finally post the pictures for memory's sake.  And looking at them now....we still got a few....at least enough to remember the day by!  :)

Her lollipop invitation....

I hot glued a magnet on the back so that people could put the invite up on their fridge.

So here goes.....

I made tissue paper balls......

and wrapped these paper lanterns with colored cellophane to hang from the ceiling.

I bought a Candyland digital kit similar to this ....but mine was only $9.95 and I just looked up 2 through Google and they were $24.95.  So I don't know......

The candy table.....

My friend, Jenny, let me borrow a few vases/candy dishes....and these were may favorite.  Instead of making it into a circle....she suggested doing this for the Candyland path.

Our entry table.....had the dumb-dumb topiary and the party favor boxes.....

The path to Candyland leading to the front door....

I made this birthday sign in Photoshop and printed it at Office Max or Office Depot (can't remember).....cut it out....punched holes.....contected with ribbon.

Parker does look younger....but Grace look obviously younger....

We only got a few pictures of the guests.....

One of my favorite things!  The cupcakes!  Kelli made them (and did a wonderful job!) and I used my digital scrapbook kit to make the toppers.

And this picture makes me really want a cupcake!

Chocolate pretzel sticks dipped in sprinkles.

The food table.....if I remember correctly......we had brisket, baked beans, potato salad, rolls, coleslaw, chips, dip, fruit. and chicken nuggets.

The candy center piece

The gumdrop wreath......

One of the few pictures of Parker...

Sweet Heather brought her 1 year old son and twin daughters all by herself to the party!  It meant so much to us.  What a feat!

Jeff, Megan, and Hayden.....

About to have everyone sing happy birthday to her.......

And I hate this next picture of me.....but it's not about me today.  Parker hid her face and got embarrassed after everyone sang to her.  And I don't think she blew out her candles by herself.  ;)

Opening presents.....

We did get in a few pictures of the family.....

A cute picture of Payton......

After the party.....

So that was her party.  Is it considered bad form to have 1 collective birthday party in November (2 months after Parker's birthdy and 2 months before Grace's birthday)???  ;)

Oh my goodness! I was just looking at this page to get ideas for my niece and my daughters birthday party (which won't be for another 4 months, but I'm a planner,) and realized from your pictures that I used to coach Parker in gymnastics! How is she?!

Just came across this darling party on pinterest trying to come up with ideas for my daughter's third birthday party. I know nothing about this kind of thing, but your ideas were all adorable. Do you have an etsy shop where I can purchase any of these printables?? Please email me at heather.d.kunz@gmail.com if that would be an option. Thanks so much!!!
