33.

I turned 33 today.

And it was a pretty good day.  For whatever reason- I felt the need to document my entire day in pictures.  I guess to kind of just show what/how my life is at 33.  Right now.

We all pretty much woke up around 7:30.  Geoff worked so I was going to be on my own today...which is fine...but he's back on his old schedule that isn't so good and so it was going to be a looong day.

Parker gave me this picture she drew yesterday and had Geoff write the little note at the bottom.

I made the girls their breakfast and by the time they were done...it was time for Nolan's morning nap.  Parker had asked the night before to play with the wooden blocks....and so I moved the table into our room so they could play while I showered and got dressed.  I had nowhere to be today, but still wanted to get dressed and I even put on a little makeup.

After I was dressed and ready....the girls wanted to watch Barbie and the Dancing Princesses....so, of course, they had to dress the part.

Love my girly girls.

Nolan decided that he wanted to give me a birthday present, too, and he slept for an hour an a half instead of his normal 45 minutes.  So at this point, I was just sitting on the couch watching the girls dance, but it was like I just couldn't sit there.  Doing nothing.  So I decided to clean up their kitchen and put everything in its place.  The clutter all around that area had been bothering me for quite some time and the cleanliness/order made me happy.

Everything in a place.  (they have too much stuff!)

My sister stepped in and saved the day (ha!) and brought lunch over...the girls had Chic-fil-A....

...and we had Subway with funyuns (my favorite) and hot cheetos.  :)  It was all so good and really hit the spot.

She also got me this cute Turvis that I'm really excited about!  It's larger than the cups I've been using and I'm hoping I won't have to fill it as often each day.

Later in the afternoon- we hooked up this sprinkler/water toy and let the girls play a bit while we watched from the inside.  That is- until all of the fun ended with a wasp flying around (no one was stung) and 3 meltdowns.

Nolan had a few naps in my arms (and Kristin's).  Sweet boy.

Kristin left for a little bit to go to a doctor's appointment....but came back with a Sonic Dr. Pepper and Sprinkles cupcakes.  The strawberry (or banana) are my favorite!  I had one in the afternoon and one after dinner (and I still have one saved for breakfast).  :)  (and I wonder why I can't lose my baby weight??)

We ordered pizza for dinner because it sounded good and we figured the girls would eat it well, too.  And they did.

Thank you Aunt Sissy for making sure I had such a wonderful birthday!

And now I'm sitting on the couch with the love of my life...drinking a glass of wine...and watching an episode of Scandal on Hulu.

So while I don't get Sprinkles cupcakes and take-out for lunch and dinner everyday....this is pretty much my life at 33.

And I wouldn't change a thing.
