(Yes…Grace was scared.)
All year, up until a couple of weeks ago…Parker has been studying animals in science. So this past Friday, we went on a field trip to the zoo with several other kids (and their families) in her class. I didn't take too many pictures because Nolan was a HANDFUL! But I did get a few.
I love Parker's face here. She was sorta embarrassed that her momma was taking a picture of her. And I had to laugh. She's too young to be embarrassed of me! Ha ha ha!
When this guy was let loose (aka…allowed out of his stroller)…he was on top of the world! He thought he was too cool for school! Ha! And also didn't want to go or do anything I said. ;) I know…it's the age.
Good thing he's so stink in' cute! And so so sweet!
This guy was SO SO SO tired. He was asleep about 2 minutes out of the parking lot.
Coincidentally…I was tired, too. So we stopped for Dr. Pepper and french fries, of course.
Because…why not?
French fries never tasted so good. :)
Getting all 3 out and about for almost 6 hours was definitely a lot of work. And I was TIRED.
But it was worth it.
And it was a good reminder that we need days like this more often. And yes, I know we are in the middle of winter….and some days are too cold…..and days at home are good for the soul. But I make excuses a lot, too. And I need to stop. Bottom line… I just want to take advantage of the fact that my kids are home with me quite a bit.
And to make them count.

All the pictures are great....but your little boy is going to be breaking a lot of hearts one day! He is so precious and sitting behind that wheel is an awesome picture! Enjoy every moment, they grow up way too fast! Have a great week!
Blessings,
Jill
