15 month check-up.

Today was Parker's 15 months check-up. Everything went pretty well. She did have to get 3 shots, and she didn't even start crying until after the 2nd one!! This time it was a little different only because when I laid her on the table the nurse asked me to hold her arms down. It makes sense, I just haven't had to do that yet, and so it was kind of sad. But I guess these immunizations are important, and she stopped crying almost immediately upon me picking her up. She seems to be doing pretty well since the shots...she did start to feel kind of warm this evening so we gave her a little Tylenol. Other than being a little groggy and tired, she seems to be ok!

15 month stats:

weight: 21.8 lbs (35th percentile)
height: 31.5 inches (76th percentile)

So basically she's like her Mama and Daddy...tall and skinny! (haha...yeah right...I wish!!)

Tomorrow we are taking it easy! We have just been blowin' n' goin' since I got out of school 2 weeks ago!! I have been running around like a mad woman trying to get all of these "things" done now before the semester starts. Basically- I am trying to be Wonder Woman and I am just not living up. Due to all of this random stuff running in and out and through my head, I have become the most scatter-brained person!!! It is so annoying...even to myself...and probably even more to my husband! I have about 10 different lists going so that I don't "forget" a thing, then I lose that list, or even better...I leave it at home!!! It's the kind of scatter-braining where you go into a room to get something, but don't remember what it is...or when you remember something you were supposed to do two days after you were supposed to do it. Fun. Nice.

I did some last minute shopping/errand running this afternoon while Parker was napping (my sister helped me out by staying at the house so I wouldn't have to get her out in this madness...Thanks!!)...and I am DONE. Let me make myself clear...I fully realize that I may not have everything done that I need to get done...but it is time...and I am DONE! So tomorrow, Parker and I are going to lounge around (ok- maybe I'll do some much needed cleaning and picking up...my house is just as cluttered as my head), but we are going to make like hermit crabs and stay inside our shell all day!! (please excuse the poor simile....I'm exhausted).
