And we have a winner!!! {I think}

So I broke down and bought already made baby food after trying a few more things with the 'baby food' that I had made (because she still will not eat my food!). I may go back to making my own (really, so much cheaper!)...but for now...I just want to get her eating...seeing as she is now 6 and a half months old!!

So I started with green peas.....figuring it would not be a favorite...but still....wanted to start out with the green veggies! And as I suspected....she did not like them. ;)

Then I tried winter squash. No luck there either.

Then...last night....I suddenly remembered that after trying the green veggies with Parker (that she did not like)....the first food she did seem to like was carrots.

So....I gave Grace carrots last night. And although she did not eat very much...she was more receptive to these than anything else I have tried to give her.

Big Sis even stepped in to help!!

So today at lunch....I decided to try the carrots again. And I was SO excited that she was actually leaning forward and opening her mouth!!!

Mixed in with a few dramatic coughing episodes! ;)

And complete with a smile!

UPDATE: Tonight...she did not eat her carrots. BUT....I think it may have to do with the fact that they were offered right after her milk. So tomorrow.....I will try again!

so cute! I tried to make John baby food and he never liked my cooking either. He gobbled up the jar food though! :) and your pictures are always so cute and with perfect lighting- so jealous mine don't turn out as nice!

What sweet pictures of her! I love little faces after they've just tried new food... especially when they like it. :)

Little doll baby! She's going to like something really well, maybe sweet potatoes? Green beans? Who knows huh? She is just so cute!

Hudson liked everything but the green veggies in the jar. Babies R Us has the Earth's Best Organic baby food in the glass jars and they have so many flavors. They even have cinnamon sweet potatoes and butternut squash with apricot. They smell so good. He ate them up! But at a 89 cents a jar when he started wanting more than one jar at a sitting we are now eating all table food.

Glad you found something she likes, but like you said, don't give up on foods she's had and spit out before. It's all a waiting game at this point and I'm sure she will like stuff later on she didn't before. I just love the coughing fit pics, toooo cute!
