A morning with the gals...

This morning, Parker and I went to the Arboretum with my friends, Jodie and Jenny, and their daughters. It was super hot! We got there as soon as the park opened, but the heat was still almost unbearable! (ok- maybe that's being a little dramatic). Anyway- we took some pretty cute pictures of the girls. Parker was the least cooperative. The first few pictures she smiled, but that was pretty much the end of that.

She would have rather sat in the wagon and shake up Jenny's bottle of gingerale making it flat (sorry Jenny!), and would throw a fit when we took it away! (In Parker's defense, however...I guess this was around the time of her usual morning nap...)

I sat Parker on this flower bed border. She stayed there for a bit, but then it happened. She leaned forward, head first. BUT this time....I caught her!!! Yippee! I basically caught her face in my hands and she braced the rest of her body with her knees and hands, and there was only a brief whimper and we were on with our day.

Oh- and this was pretty close to when we were leaving....Parker had had enough! Poor baby...
