We just got back from our annual family vacation this past Monday. We had a great time {like always}.
The first year we visited Broken Bow, Ok....and Geoff didn't even go that year. It was just me, the girls, Kristin, Phil, Payton, my mom and Terry, and my Granny and Aunt Pauline. It was also a great time- but the girls were still pretty young (Grace was just 7 months old!).
Last year we headed to Granite Shoals, Texas. We rented a house there right on the lake. On this year- we had the above mentioned people and added my brother, Brian, and Geoff, too.
This year we rented a house with a pool. It was near a lake but we didn't even visit it. (We did, however, visit the Wal-Mart 5+times! Ha!) On this trip- the above mentioned people were in attendance, and we added my step-sister Aubrey and my brother's girlfriend, Christine. It was a full house with 11 adults and 3 kids.... and there was never a dull moment. We are already discussing plans for next year!
It's fun to look back and even just to reminisce about these vacation. Such great memories. It also really shows how much the girls have grown. Love making these memories with my family.
These first few pictures are just of the house. It's a beautiful house and I am kicking myself a bit because I didn't get pictures of the whole house like I thought. Maybe Kristin did?
the entry way and front door...
the kitchen table...
from the living area looking up to the loft area....
the beautiful, and large, dining room table....
and this....this is the entrance to the master closet...the girls' room....
Payton slept on the left and Parker on the right....
Grace on the other side....
There was a pack-n-play already set up in there when we got there. There was an A/C vent in there....it was actually pretty cold. But I think it was sound proof! This house was so nicely built that you couldn't hear a thing from the outside....which was really nice for late night pool volleyball games or our joker games.

And now for the vacation pics....
The girls were more than excited when we arrived. They were running around and ready to swim.
Payton was swimming soon after getting into the water...
Gramma and Parker
Grace knows how to vacation the right way! :)
Gramma got Grace to go under water, too....
Aunt Pauline and Granny....
music...
Lots of this! I don't think anyone got burned....
and lots and lots of this! I gained 4-5 pounds. Seriously.
This gets us through the first day. We had hamburgers and hot dogs and chips and dips and fruit for dinner. I guess I didn't get any pictures.
I plan to wrap up the vacation posts in just 1 more post. I think I can do it. ;)
