We finally got around to doing some 'Thanksgiving crafts' today. I had originally thought about printing out preschool and tot packs and have some fun while learning. But I'm in vacation mode (even though I'm not really on vacation, per se)....and wanted it to be all fun!
So I made some homemade play dough with a dash of vanilla extract and a teaspoon of pumpkin spice and it smelt so good! And I think the girls had fun, too!
While they were playing play dough...I traced out each girls hands and feet to make a turkey...
So I cut them out all myself and positioned each girl's paper like this....then I let them glue them by themselves....
I didn't really help Parker or Payton...Grace wasn't too interested and so I helped her quite a bit...
Then colored these cornucopias...
The girls played well together....I guess Grace was putting on a show because Parker and Payton were sitting back watching her while cheering and clapping. So sweet to watch.
Earlier in the month we had a few other days/mornings of fall activities....
We had an 'apple fun day' using printables from this preschool pack at 2teaching
Outside of our apple themed day- Parker had to do a little bit of her 'real' school work...
a little bit of graphing...
We also cut open an apple to see the star-shape....we read about this in our Curious George Apple book. Unfortunately- I think we had the wrong kind of apple...no star shape.
On this day...we did just some regular 'fall fun' activities....lots of leaves and the printables are from Confessions of a Homeschooler....
apples vs. leaves
some writing practice...
small, medium, large....
Of course, as always.....I had intentions of doing lots more....but this will do!
Ready to move on from Fall Fun and into the Christmas season!

On the apple, you have to cut it the opposite way. :-)
