We have tried quite a few lately. Crockpots are just like one stop meals...not a lot of work right before mealtime which is right when I can demotivate myself to actually cook and opt for take-out. The crockpot helps to ensure a 'home cooked' meal! So I wanted to share some meals that we've made recently that we really like and would try again.
Crockpot Jambalaya- it might be a little spicy for the kids but you could totally control the amount of cajun seasoning you put in it.
Easy Sweet and Sour Catalina Chicken- and I just realized that this recipe is not actually a slow cooker one....BUT- the chicken could easily be made in the crockpot instead of the oven....and the instant rice is made right before dinner time which takes 10 minutes total. And this recipe only calls for THREE ingredients!! Steam up some broccoli and you have a well-balanced meal! Parker ate this up really well! Grace was kinda sick when we had it so not sure if she didn't like it at all or if it was because she was not feeling well? Anyway- we will definitely make again!
Crockpot Chicken Chili was another really good one. I ate so much of this....and I was even still nauseous feeling in my first trimester. Grace loved it, but Parker would not try it.
I haven't gotten too far down on my pinterest crockpot meals board, but we are heading in that direction! Especially now that it is starting to cool off here! Here are a few more that we have not tried yet, but look delicious!
Slow Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup
Good Ole Cheese Chicken and Rice- I think the girls would really like this...
And I really wouldn't mind trying out these ribs!

All looked yummy! One thing about cold weather, (and I'm sure we will have plenty of cold eventually), these are considered comfort foods which are so good this time of year!
YUM! I may have to try a few of those or all!!
I love my crock pot too, when I remember to throw something into it in the morning. :) I'm a big fan of one-pot meals so the crockpot is super easy. I love doing ribs and roasts in the crock pot because they turn out really tender. I've also pinned a bunch of crock pot recipes and several of them are quite good. :) My husband is picky about crockpot food as he doesn't like "mushy" meals, but we've still found some favourites. :) Thanks for sharing yours!
