The week before Christmas the girls' had a little dance recital the last 15 minutes of their class time. They will have their big recital at the end of spring with their costumes and all of that fun stuff.
They were told that they could wear Christmas attire so Kristin and I made the girls their Christmas tutus.
Grace and Payton are in the same class. Payton did well and did most of the dances. Grace pretty much just stood there and ended up coming to me in the middle of the second song and was crying. Later- when I asked her why she didn't dance- she said because she wanted me to hold her. ;) Her teacher warned us that at this age they tend to not do as well at this type of recital because we are right there and they can see us. She said that they usually do better at the big recital because the audience is dark and they can't see us. We'll see!

Parker's was the next day and she did so well! I was so proud of her! There were more kids and more parents at this one than Grace's, and I didn't know where she was going to stand so this was as good as I could get.
