Grace's 3rd birthday party!

This past Saturday Grace turned THREE!!!  I still don't think I can believe it.  People ask a lot at work how old my girls are....mostly because they ask about when the baby is due and if it's my first or what...and then that leads to their names and ages....and when I say five and three....it's like I don't know how I got to stage of my life.  Having a third baby.  My oldest is 5 and my baby is 3.
Time just flies.

We woke up Saturday and tried to make the morning a little special.  Geoff blew up about 20 balloons and had them spread around the living room floor...and we strung up some pink and purple crepe paper to just make the house feel a little festive and special.

I made pancakes with rainbow sprinkles and sang Happy Birthday and let her blow out a candle....

After requesting pancakes...she requested eggs.  So Geoff ended up making her scrambled eggs....which she ate....and didn't touch her pancakes.  :)  I don't know what it is about breakfast but she just can't make up her mind and by the time it's over she has requested 23 different things.  It wears me out!

Let's not forget big sis!

She opened a little present from us....

Then we all got dressed and headed to ChuckECheese for her birthday party.  Each year we have just had a family party for her and so this year I knew I wanted her to have a 'real' party.  With that being said...I wanted simple and fun and low stress.....so ChuchECheese it was!

My mom made this dress for Grace and it is so cute.  It has Little Mermaid appliquéd on the bottom-side....I will have to get a better picture of it because it's just too cute not to show off.

Geoff took most pictures which I greatly appreciate!

Sister did NOT like Chuck E Cheese!!!  We had to request that he stay away.  Ha!

It's my party and I'll cry if I want to!

In an effort to save a little money I decided to make the cupcakes for her party.  She kept telling Aunt Sis that she was having a princess party...so I ended up getting these cupcake topper printables from a shop on Etsy and just printed here at home, punched out with my scalloped punch, and hot glued to a small popsicle stick that you get at Hobby Lobby.

This little gal never ceases to amaze me.  She would have nothing to do with Chuck E....but she did want to go into the ticket booth that's like this mini wind tunnel thing.  I 'knew' she wouldn't want to do it....but after she watched the other kids do it....she couldn't get in there fast enough.  Geoff was even going to go in with her, but she told him to get out.  Haha!  And she did so good.  I couldn't wipe the smile off my face the entire time she was in there.

So thankful for all the friends who were able to make it out to celebrate our littlest gal's special day!

Glad she had a "Happy Birthday Party"! When she called me on Sunday she told me she did not like Chuck E!
