Monday, Monday...

...was a very good day.

I was able to get off of work early yesterday and so my time off this week started early!

It was not a good night of sleep, however....Parker came in our bedroom at 4:45 due to a bad dream....and Grace came in just as I was drifting to sleep at 5:45.  I got her back to bed by 6:15 (thankfully!)..and when the alarm went off at 7:20 I couldn't move!  :)  Geoff popped up out of bed and got Parker's breakfast and lunch made.  I finally crawled out of bed around 7:45 and helped Parker get dressed and took her to school.   She was in the best mood this morning and such a joy to be around....

I don't normally have Mondays off....so it was a little different (and so nice!) coming home to Geoff....and even more out of the norm that Grace was still sleeping.   So I was able to do a little of this....surfing the internet, enjoying my coffee....all with Kelly & Michael on in the background.  It was a treat!

After we were all fed and dressed....we headed to Hobby Lobby to get a little more Christmas fabric...a few things for me to make a wreath for our front door....and a little pink tree for Grace's room.  I had bought a small pink Christmas tree last year that was supposed to be for both girls....but somehow while I was at work on Sunday...Geoff and the girls decided that they each needed a tree in their room?  Anyway....

It was fun being able to give Grace all of our attention and just spending time with her...

Then to Wal-Mart for a few things.  Daddy was extra nice and let her ride the caterpillar.  Perfect example of why dads are just more fun.  We don't do these things with Mommy.  ;)

Then home for lunch and some snuggle time with my littlest gal on the couch watching Cinderella...

A little later- Geoff started getting all of the Christmas stuff down from the attic....

Grace and I left him to do his work to pick Parker up from school.  We had a special Sonic treat after school...

 Luckily- Parker came home in the same mood she left with.  She was so excited that both Geoff and I were home....and even more excited about getting all the decorations out.  Geoff was picking up around the house while I was getting ready to take Geoff out for a birthday dinner....and Parker set up a few decorations herself!

Both nativity scenes....I love how she set them up all on her own.....everyone gathered around... looking at baby Jesus....

I never set them up quite like this...but I'm sure it was more like this....everyone gathered around to see the Messiah....

So we basically still have all of our decorating to do and my plan is to just hopefully get it done little by little as the week goes on.  We'll see.  I don't really want all of these boxes hanging around inside the house either.

The day ended with a date with Geoff.  Of course- no picture of us!  The food and conversation were great.  We were home in time to put the girls to bed and now we're settling in and watching an episode of Dallas from the first season.  Then it's off to bed!  We have a full day planned for tomorrow!

Now....praying that both girls stay in their bed....all. night. long!
