Let me just start out by saying...I have been really nervous about posting these pictures. I'm afraid that I have "over-edited" some of them (I was just going crazy!!) and this is because I do not know what I am doing at all!! And because there are eleventy billion different ways to do it....
I am really good a doing something...then leaving it...then coming back to it and trying to tweak it just a bit more....only to mess it up more....or make it look odd. You know how if you keep looking at something over and over again...it begins to kind of look funny? Well- that is what has happened to me and these photographs. It can be exhausting (but fun still, too!). But there comes a point (which is right now) when I say "enough is enough." So this is what you get! (at least for now...until tomorrow.... when I look at them again and change that one little thing....whatever it is....that just isn't quite right)
Today- Geoff and I took Parker to the arboretum. It is Tiny Tots Tuesday and so they have various activities for the little ones to partake...However...with it being spring break and such a beautiful day...I think that many, many people had the same idea. So Parker didnit really do any tiny tot activities...but she did do a lot of walking around....which she absolutely loves! She really pooped herself out....she came home and took a 3 hour nap!! And even tonight we could just tell that she was worn out! And secretly....Momma and Daddy are, too!
These are some of the first pictures we took. We let her out of the stroller and she was off. Her lovey in hand and all....
I really like this one of her genuine smile and how she's squatting down so cute like she always does...however....there's just something about it that I cannot get right on my end.....
Geoff likes this one....
I did kinda like this next one....now I'm kinda thinking I don't really...maybe too much in the background or somethin'.....??
So we walked around a bit...then had lunch....then had a wardrobe change....
At this point....Parker is already getting tired...as evidenced by....the fact that she was wanting to play in one of the flower beds...and Geoff told her no as he was also trying to get her to follow me so we could move to another area of the park. At first she was just whiny (pretty loud whiny)...but then I guess it was just too much and she started her really "sad, hurt feelings cry"...and ran to me and placed her head on my shoulder. No matter the circumstance...isn't it always just the best feeling when they lay their head on your shoulder??
And this one I included, not because it is good....but it reminded me of a movie star with their kid walking around somewhere in public and the paparazzi is taking their picture against their will. Not that I felt like a movie star by any means...but I look less than pleased or that I could have cared less... that he is taking a picture....but Parker seems oblivious and is actually mid-yawn....
Runnin' to Momma!
So serious....as if she is posing for a portrait....

I love, love, love these pictures. You really have a knack for this photograhy, photoshop thing. It helps that your subject is so adorable as well!
Marla,
These are so good!!!!! I LOVE them all!
The good thing is, you don't have to decide which ones to order....you can just get them all!!!! :)
I agree with Jodie and Kelli both! Great pics, what cute outfits too! Happy year and a half BD Parker Ann, Aunt "B" loves you so!
NEVER EVER keep photos from us because you think they're not good... I ADORE them. Oh, she's just my favorite little thing on earth. And the paparazzi one made me laugh. :)
This came up as Matt's comment...but it's Amy...I don't know HOW that happened or why...I guess I'm signed in on his name. Just wanted to clarify.
