It's a little too quiet.....

I'm sure every parent has experienced this.

You're kids are somewhat occupied and playing independently.

So you're rushing around. Trying to get the dishes cleaned. The laundry put up. Dinner cooked. All before they need you again.

Only....sometimes......you start realizing that you're getting quite a bit done.

That your kid is doing sooo well playing by themselves.

So good, in fact, that you start to think it's getting a little too quiet.


On Sunday....Geoff was cleaning up the kitchen after making some homemade cookie n' cream ice cream.....and I was out having dinner with friends.

Grace was sitting in her bumbo seat watching him clean up.

And Parker was.....wait......where's Parker?? The last place he saw her was over here....

And lo and behold.....there she was....with her Lovey!!!


As Parker would say....."Byyyeee! See you lay-ler {later}!!!"
