37 weeks

37 weeks down....and 2 more to go!  Cannot. Believe. The. Time. Is. Here.

I don't really have much to report since last week.  I had my check-up on Friday...belly measuring about 37-38 weeks...and baby's heartbeat at 140 (both good).

As for me....I think I'm almost ready.  I mean- not for him to necessarily come right now....but mentally...I think I'm almost there.  Sure- I still have a few things I'd like to get done here and there...but I'm at the point where whatever's left undone will just get done when it gets done.  ;)  I'm just going to try to enjoy the rest of our time as a family of 4...and soak up my sweet girls.

I am also taking more notice to his movements....trying to memorize how it feels.  I don't want to forget it.

Parker is so sweet and can't wait for the baby to get here.  She wants to hold him and love on him.  She is so growing up right before our eyes...and it's so fun and breaks my heart all at the same time.

Grace says she's excited, too, but I think hers is more just following along with our lead.  I was holding a baby that was at our house today and when she saw...she sternly asked, "Mommy?  Why are you holding that baby?"  She definitely knows something's about to happen.  :)

I'm getting more and more excited though.  Still trying to let it all sink in....and sometimes I still can't believe in just over 2 weeks I'll get to meet our son.  Just praying for a healthy remainder of pregnancy and for a safe delivery.

I'm sure it hasn't for you but it seems like this pregnancy has gone so fast. Still can't wait to meet our new great-nephew!

Those last few weeks are so hard, but so precious! Good luck to you and happy pushing! (I am expecting baby #4, in a few weeks, our first girl!)

Almost there! You look so cute. I wish the first weeks with baby went as slowly as the end of pregnancy. Can't we reverse the experience somehow? Anyway, can't wait to hear the wonderful news of baby's birth.

I love the idea of trying to memorize the movements in the womb. As excited as I am to meet my little Bean, I already know I will feel a bit nostalgic when he's not hanging out in my belly anymore.
